I have worked in the helping profession in multiple capacities, including coaching and mentorship, addictions counselling in inpatient and outpatient facilities, and as a community therapist in an Indigenous community. Each role has played an important part in who I am today as a counsellor. I believe that no matter what walk of life someone is from, they deserve to be seen and heard! Mental health has impacted my life in many ways, whether through my own experiences or those of family, friends, or colleagues. Through my years in the counselling field, I began to understand that the process of healing is unique to each individual, which has led me to train in multiple modalities, including CBT, DBT, coaching, solution-focused therapy and narrative therapy. I use a strength-based, client-centred approach to support you on your healing journey. I have experience working with individuals as young as 5 and as old as 104!
