The Counselling Corner is an established counselling practice within various locations in Saskatchewan. We are looking for passionate, warm, kind-hearted and compassionate individuals to join our team as an Independent Contractor/Registered Clinical Counsellors to deliver in-person and virtual therapy on a part-time or flexible full-time basis. We seek a Registered Social Worker in good standing, preferably with a Masters and have at least three years of clinical experience.
Candidates shouldhave a strong interest in being part of a collaborative, supportive team of therapists and demonstrate a passion for continued education and growth in their practice.
Our client base spans the whole development range and a wide range of cultures and backgrounds, and we work with children, youth, individuals, couples and families.
We work from a “therapist-first” model where the counsellors have flexible scheduling. We are looking for warm and empathetic counsellors who desire both the flexibility of private practice and also enjoy the collaborative dynamics of a strong team. We want you to love what you do.

Our practice has an open-door policy, providing case consultation with Wendy whenever needed.
Requirements
The successful applicant must be a registered social worker in good standing.
Preferred experience working with children, youth, and adults, including relevant training
Be skilled and experienced in counselling clients with a broad array of clinical presentations such as anxiety, depression, life transitions, grief and loss and trauma.
Be warm, curious, and collaborative in your approach
Proof of own liability insurance
Ability to work independently
Ability to respond to correspondence promptly
Must possess excellent organizational, time management and critical thinking skills
Good performance and attendance are required
Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, including report writing
Proven ability to interact with clients and their families in an empathetic manner
Committed to ongoing professional development
Wanting to work as part of a team (attending group meetings and supervision)
Must have a private space, reliable internet, and a computer with a camera for virtual sessions
