BA BSW RSW Biggar, Sask - (she/her) 306-951-0100 | [email protected] Hi, my name is Stacy! I have worked in Mental Health and Addictions as a Clinical Social Worker with children, youth, adults, families, and couples for approximately 20 years and have extensive experience in this area. I obtained my Indigenous Studies Degree in 2001 at the University of Saskatchewan and my Social Work Degree in 2003 at the University of Regina. As a social worker, I have had the honour and pleasure of working with individuals on their healing journeys. I have had the opportunity to develop a specialization in the area of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy through CBT Connections and The Psychiatry Association, which is considered a best practice approach/treatment for many things, such as anxiety and depression. I take a person-centred, strengths-based, holistic approach in my practice. I also believe in providing a professional, confidential, non-judgmental, safe space to support healing and self-discovery. I love learning, animals, and nature and I believe in the power of gratitude, optimism, and a good sense of humour. I work with individuals ages 5 and up as well as adults in the following areas:
*NHIB Approved Therapist *BlueCross Approved Therapist *Telus Approved Therapist *Greensheild Approved Therapist |
